Overview

Bruckner Truck & Equipment is a large family-owned semi truck dealership operating in over 40 locations across 12 states, employing more than 1,500 team members. The Service Technician Tier 2 position requires advanced skills in truck repair and maintenance, with a focus on customer service and community contribution.

Responsibilities

• Complete online training in Mack & Volvo and other approved training.
• Work on approved off-site training towards certification.
• Demonstrate knowledge of air, fuel, and after-treatment systems.
• Perform timely repairs with a minimum of 85% efficiency and 80% proficiency.
• Conduct quality repairs with minimal rework.
• Diagnose and repair basic electronic, lighting, and electrical systems.
• Work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years on-the-job training.
• Complete all Tier 3 job role requirements.
• Complete at least 2 items from the certification list.
• Master Certified in at least 1 Mack or Volvo Pro-Path segment.
• D.O.T. Inspection Certified.
• Certified in at least one Cummins engine platform.
• Certified in Medium Duty (Hino, Mitsubishi, or Isuzu).
• Allison Transmission Certified.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License.
