Overview
Join a leading company as a Mechanic - Master, where you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of company-owned equipment. This role requires physical stamina and technical expertise in heavy truck and trailer components.
Responsibilities
- Complete a quality preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on all company owned equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications.
- Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
- Disassemble, repair and re-assemble Heavy Truck and Trailer components.
- Assist any shop personnel as needed to create a cohesive and well-rounded shop environment.
- May perform tire maintenance to include repairs and failure analysis.
- May be required to test drive equipment if certified.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- May provide daily oversight to assigned mechanics to ensure productivity and quality goals are achieved.
- May provide guidance to mechanics related to diagnostics and repair processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years' related experience and/or training required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Drivers license required.
- Demonstrated/proven superior customer service skills.
- Ability to read and understand repair manuals.
- Ability to use and learn various diagnostic software.
- Must possess excellent computer skills.
