Overview
At MAG, we provide real-time situational awareness to help our customers make the world smaller and safer. The Lead Hardware Integration Technician is responsible for hands-on build, cabling, integration, and testing, leading the technician team across MAG Aerospace's command and control portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform cable and harness fabrication, connector termination, and wiring of power and signal interfaces.
- Lead and perform vehicle integration including equipment mounting and power distribution wiring.
- Run the integration bench, lead system bring-up, and verify work performed by the technician team.
- Lead integration and acceptance test execution, record results, and resolve hardware and integration faults.
- Lead field and site installation and demonstration support, including troubleshooting and operator training.
- Provide build feedback to the electrical engineer and maintain as-built records.
- Maintain shop, tool, and test-equipment readiness and safety.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on electronics, communications, or vehicle-systems integration and test experience.
- Expert cable and harness fabrication and connector termination.
- Experience wiring and integrating equipment and power systems into armored or tactical vehicles.
- Test and troubleshooting experience with standard instruments and fault isolation.
- Ability to read and work to wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Associate degree in electronics or a related technical field, or equivalent military or technical training.
- Minimum of 8 years of electronics or systems integration and test experience.
