Overview

CTR Group is seeking several 1st Class Pipe Welders for a shipyard in the Pascagoula, MS area. The position involves performing pipe welding procedures on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel pipe using various welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding procedures using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and other welding processes.
• Work in a shipyard environment that may involve different heights and confined spaces.
• Adhere to safety procedures that meet or exceed industry standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of pipe welding experience.
• Experience in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
• Ability to pass military standard X-Ray welding test on stainless steel and copper nickel in the 6G position.
• Ability to pass a military specification welding assessment in vertical (3G), horizontal (2G), and overhead (4G) positions.
