Overview

The Pipefitter-Welder Journeyprsn position involves planning, laying out, and performing various types of pipe welding and fabrication work in compliance with applicable standards. The role requires collaboration with team members and a commitment to quality and safety in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Produce high quality work safely and productively.
• Provide feedback to ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and information.
• Seek opportunities for improvement in tasks and methods.
• Share knowledge and teach others.
• Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance.
• Eliminate waste in processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of three to six years of experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry.
• In-depth understanding of the pipefitter trade.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, isometrics, P&ID’s, and specifications.
• Must pass required weld tests.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50lbs and using hands frequently.
