Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for the layout and fit of structural and miscellaneous fabricated products.
Responsibilities
- Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
- Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
- Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
- Sets up equipment and welds parts using various welding techniques.
- May assemble parts by bolting.
- May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience required.
- Certification in Tack Welding required.
- Prefer Welding Certification in 3G position.
- Ability to read shop drawings.
- Ability to comprehend weld procedures and weld symbols.
- Regular attendance, prompt and dependable.
- Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
- Ability to perform moderate physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to see well and manipulate objects.
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors.
