Overview
We're seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, values workplace safety, and enjoys working in a collaborative production environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions.
- Set up welding equipment and prepare materials before production.
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components.
- Assemble and fabricate parts to meet customer quality requirements.
- Inspect completed welds and verify products meet dimensional and quality standards.
- Use precision measuring tools and standard inspection equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and daily care of welding equipment.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.
- Follow established production procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to obtain AWS D1.1 welding certification at a minimum.
- Experience setting up and operating MIG welding equipment.
- TIG welding experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints and fabricate parts independently.
- Basic math skills for measurements, layouts, and inspections.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Approximately two years of welding or fabrication experience, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on training.
