Overview

Amalgamated Sugar Company, a leader in innovation in the sugar industry, is seeking an experienced Industrial Welder for their Twin Falls, Idaho facility. This heavy-duty labor position involves performing a variety of welding and fabrication tasks throughout the sugar factory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on both carbon steel and stainless steel in an industrial factory setting.
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
• Work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis as required.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Climb stairs and ladders while performing duties.
• Work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold), both indoors and outdoors.
• Read and comprehend written instructions including safety procedures, safety signs, schedules, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and manufacturing standards.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in all work areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully pass the ASME 6G factory welding test (carbon steel and stainless steel).
• Must be able to reliably commute to Twin Falls, ID or plan to relocate before starting work.

Additional Information
