Overview

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Centrifuge Operator in Penns Grove, NJ to operate mechanical and manual servicing equipment for industrial services, waste management, and tank cleaning. The role emphasizes safety and client relationships, requiring a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely.
• Operate Centrifuge performance to meet customer expectations.
• Transport, carry, and connect hoses, fittings, pumps, and other site-related equipment.
• Monitor and operate special equipment such as pumps and breathing air equipment.
• Follow procedures and safe practices while operating equipment.
• Follow orders from site supervisory personnel.
• Don and doff HazMat PPE and enter confined spaces for tank cleaning.
• Perform physically strenuous duties such as removal of product or sludge while in the tank.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years verifiable centrifuge experience on 2 or 3 phase centrifuges.
• 3 phase centrifuge experience.
• Knowledge of maximum Centrifuge feed capacities.
• Knowledge of conditioning Centrifuge feed stock such as polymer injection and various chemical additives.
• Valid TWIC required or ability to obtain TWIC.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in refinery tank cleaning preferred; offshore, drilling, chemical handling, or military experience acceptable.
• Ability to work in industrial settings and confined spaces with HazMat apparel.
