Strategy Engineering & Consulting, LLC is a leader in providing project management, engineering, drafting/design, procurement, inspection, construction management, technical writing and computerized maintenance management systems for onshore and offshore oil and gas projects. Strategy is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer who will be responsible for Civil and Structural design and technical supervision of engineering activities associated with design, procurement and fabrication on projects executed by Strategy Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Civil site development including site grading and drainage plans.
• Design reinforced concrete foundations for heavy equipment such as compressors, pumps, and storage tanks.
• Engineer pipe racks, skid supports, catwalks, and maintenance platforms in accordance with AISC and ASCE standards.
• Interact with clients, installation contractors and fabricators to review project issues.
• Coordinate drafting activities.
• Assist with preparation of technical documents for Request for Quotation packages.
• Prepare technical evaluations of fabricator and/or installation quotations.
• Review vendor skid drawings.
• Interface with other disciplines to minimize conflicts and errors.

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer is a must.
• 5-10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering activities.
• Concrete experience preferred.
• Knowledge of STAAD.Pro, SACS, ANSY, RISA, RAM Connection, Mat3D and foundation 3D.
• Working knowledge of current industrial specifications including API and AISC codes.
• Good communication skills.
• B.S. Civil Engineering.
