Overview

Responsibilities

  • Mix plastering materials properly.
  • Apply plastering materials to interior and exterior surfaces using tools like hawk, trowel, Darby, and slicker.
  • Apply plaster coats including scratch, brown, and finish.
  • Perform lathing and plastering bases such as channel iron and wire lath.
  • Conduct dust control and clean up.

Additional Information

  • A letter of recommendation from your supervisor must be submitted with your resume for NYCHA employees.
  • NYCHA employees must have served a period of one year at their current location and in their current title and level to apply for transfer or promotion.
  • Travel to developments within the assigned neighborhood is required.
  • Positions will cover Manhattan Neighborhood 05, including East River, Jefferson, Wagner, and Wilson.
