As a Ports & Maritime Senior Structural Technical Lead, you’ll work with a global team on various ports and maritime projects, leading design teams and ensuring technical delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist and/or lead design teams in the design, analysis, and delivery of ports and maritime projects.
- Prepare and review structural calculations/designs, specifications, and engineering reports.
- Serve as a conduit for resource and knowledge sharing between offices.
- Lead structural teams in the technical delivery of various project aspects.
- Act as a structural QA/QC expert on maritime projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer license (preferably in New York/New Jersey or willingness to get reciprocity).
- Substantial years of experience in the design of marine structures and facilities.
- Experience with national and international codes such as ASCE, UFC, IBC, Eurocode, and British Standard.
- Expert working knowledge of ACI, AISC, and PIANC.
- Proficient in STAAD (or similar structural analysis software) and AutoCAD.
- Prior work experience on marine structures and facilities.
- Extensive experience in structural design and analysis, writing technical specifications, and technical reports.
- Experience leading structural teams in the technical delivery of tasks and projects.

Additional Information
- The base salary range for this position is $175,000.00 to $245,000.00.
- Hybrid working policy allows splitting work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
