Responsibilities

• Serve in a lead technical role on bridge design projects
• Perform complex structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects
• Work on projects that typically include bridge, box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projects
• Serve as a technical specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects, and supervise more junior engineers
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
• A minimum of 10 years structural engineering experience as it relates to building design
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
• Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar analytical software
• Ability to design and detail in steel, concrete, masonry and wood
• Requires understanding of gravity analysis and lateral analysis
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm

• Compensation range: $143,850 - $205,500
