Overview

Millerbernd Manufacturing Company is seeking a Welder II or III to join their team in Sauk Rapids, MN. The role involves performing MIG welding and fabrication tasks according to product specifications, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding, layout, tacking, and fabrication of various products.
• Produce welds that pass visual inspection and adhere to welding procedure specifications.
• Read and understand welding procedure specifications and select appropriate materials.
• Use various machines to fabricate and design products.
• Monitor production tasks and accurately label parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines as required.
• Use material handling equipment to transport materials.
• Ensure safe work procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist in the development and training of less experienced welders.

Requirements

• Welder II: 3 years of metal fabrication/welding experience preferred.
• Welder III: Demonstrated progressive experience including AWS, ASME, ISO, and/or API qualifications.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and weld symbols.
• Ability to operate hoists, cranes, and other powered industrial vehicles.
• Ability to perform basic shop math functions.
• Must be AWS GMAW certified.
• Ability to work under limited supervision using standardized practices.

Additional Information

• Full-time position with a shift schedule of Friday to Sunday, 5AM-5PM.
• Salary range for Welder II: $25.03-$29.46 per hour; Welder III: $29.76-$35.33 per hour.
