Job Description
Overview
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Welders for a fabrication shop in the Newberry area. This full-time position offers both day and night shifts, with compensation starting at $19.00 - $20.00 hourly, making it ideal for newly certified welders looking to gain experience.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and weld symbols for work orders.
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel industrial wiring.
- Operate an overhead crane to move components through the fabrication shop.
- Weld in horizontal position, including T-joint and pipe to plate.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a weld test: Bend, T-Point, Pipe to plate.
- Must be able to pass a Blueprint reading test.
- Must be able to pass a Measuring skillset test.
