Overview

ALCOM is a growing company dedicated to producing high-quality aluminum trailers across various categories. With multiple manufacturing plants, ALCOM focuses on innovation and craftsmanship, providing customized solutions for their dealers.

Responsibilities

• Reads job orders and blueprint specifications.
• Checks the blueprint and job order before starting any operation.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed.
• Flips the trailer to weld the other side with assistance.
• Verifies specifications by inspecting completed components.
• Responsible for the safety of the equipment used.
• Notifies the lead or manager of the need for equipment repairs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
• Recognizes obvious defective or damaged parts and checks job orders.
• Evaluates and recommends changes in methods and procedures.
• Follows directives and procedures and completes paperwork.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Works in compliance with safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 6S and Kaizen events.

Requirements

• Aluminum welding experience is required.
• Must pass an aluminum weld test.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and follow a job order.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
