Overview

As the Maintenance Tech for Stamping and Robotic Spot Weld Assemblies, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of stamping machinery and robotic welding systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of production equipment, minimizing downtime, and leading a team of maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues related to stamping machines and robotic welders.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Certifications in a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, specifically with stamping presses and robotic welding systems.
• Strong knowledge of stamping presses, robotic welders, and associated control systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CMRP, CMM) are a plus.
