Overview

The Diesel Mechanic position involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment, ensuring safety guidelines are followed, and performing steel fabrication and welding as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment.
• Schedule and perform mechanical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic repairs on equipment as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times and properly documented.
• Provide emergency & unscheduled repairs of equipment.
• Perform general purpose steel fabrication and welding.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals in order to perform necessary repairs.
