Overview

The Welder - Fabricator position requires proficiency in TIG welding and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Candidates must be adaptable to changing work environments and able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality parts on TIG and MIG welding machines under supervision.
• Interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Measure and mark dimensions on materials as a guide for welding.
• Detect equipment malfunctions and adjust the machine as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to state and federal laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• TIG welding experience required.
• Intermediate knowledge of reading drawings and specifications.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must communicate in English (both written and oral).
• Adaptability to changing work environments and competing demands.
• Willingness to work extended hours as necessary.
• Physically able to stand for long periods on concrete.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Availability to work either 1st or 3rd shift.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred 2 years of on-the-job experience or trade school equivalent.
