Job Description
Overview
The Heavy Plate Fabrication Fitter/Welder position requires expertise in reading blueprints and AWS weld symbols, as well as proficiency in various welding processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in building ASME Code pressure vessels or similar heavy plate fabrications and thrive in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the full cycle: cut and burn.
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape to 1/64” and hold tight tolerances.
- Proficiency in FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy plate fabrication or ASME Code pressure vessels.
