Overview

The Welder position involves welding light gauge carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum, and requires reviewing job specifications to adjust machines and materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Weld light gauge carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
• Review job specifications to determine needed adjustments of machines and material requirements.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together, usually in fixtures.
• Regularly use MIG welding equipment from setup through welding various components.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling.
