Overview

Basin Material Handling is the nation’s leader in custom designed racks, seeking talented and experienced MIG Welders to join their award-winning team. They have earned 'Packaging Supplier of the Year' awards for the last six years from Toyota and are looking for hardworking individuals committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manually guide electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead.
• Perform BPS reporting and metrics, including 5S.
• May act as line leader, setting up lines and checking weld quality of co-workers as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of welding experience.
• Ability to perform simple shop math and convert decimals to fractional equivalents.
• Ability to read a calibrated tape measure.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and quality manuals.
• Forklift certificate or ability to receive forklift certificate.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday-Friday with Saturdays as needed.
• Work hours: 6:00am-2:30pm.
• Will be required to work overtime as needed.
