Overview

BlueScope is a leading manufacturer of building solutions with over 100 years of experience, known for quality brands and a customer-first spirit. They are seeking skilled and detail-oriented welders to fabricate and repair metal components in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
• Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.
• Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards.

Additional Information

• Hours are Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm with some OT required.
• $3,000 Sign On Bonus! $1,500 at 90 days and $1,500 at the 1-year mark.
