Your Responsibilities

Perform MIG/GMAW welding and fabrication of structural steel components and assemblies according to engineering specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to accurately cut, fit, assemble, and fabricate metal components. Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts using visual and non-destructive inspection methods to ensure quality requirements are met. Troubleshoot welding and fabrication defects, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while following Lean manufacturing practices, 5S standards, and production procedures.

Your Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical welding training or certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred. 3–5 years of welding and metal fabrication experience, preferably within heavy equipment, industrial manufacturing, or aerial lift manufacturing. Proficiency in MIG welding, blueprint interpretation, weld symbols, and fabrication tools; experience with high-strength steels preferred. Ability to pass an in-house welding certification test and consistently produce quality welds while meeting production goals. Strong safety mindset with the ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and adapt to changing production priorities.
