Overview

Martin Marietta is seeking a Maintenance Welder for their Garner, North Carolina location. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated, responsible for repairing and maintaining plant industrial equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all plant equipment often in out of position welding.
• Maximizing performance of equipment by performing repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on a timely basis.
• Performing fabrication, erection of processing equipment and repairs to processing equipment and mobile equipment.
• Completing daily pre and post inspection of working area.
• Operating other equipment such as loaders and haul trucks in a safe manner as needed.
• Aiding in the training of co-workers as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Have one (1) year of experience in welding and maintenance.
