Overview

Flowserve is seeking a highly skilled and precision-driven Welder to join their customer-focused manufacturing and repair operations. The role involves collaborating with machinists and assemblers to solve mechanical problems while maintaining rigorous production schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, calibrate, and execute multi-position welds utilizing TIG, MIG, MAG, and Stick welding methods.
  • Plan, lay out, and configure workflows from engineering schematics and technical drawings.
  • Identify raw industrial materials and execute component preparation using conventional shop lathes.
  • Execute high-quality welding installations on new equipment and carry out precision structural welding repairs.
  • Verify the quality of finished fabrications according to strict tolerances and workmanship standards.
  • Carry out post-weld heat treatment operations based on process documents and instructions.
  • Collaborate with assemblers and machinists to troubleshoot process flows and correct equipment problems.
  • Record accurate data on tracking systems or manual logs to maintain a clean flow of parts and documentation.
  • Maintain a safe workspace by following protection rules and conducting routine tool maintenance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5 to 7 years of professional welding experience in mechanical manufacturing or heavy industrial repair.
  • Valid, current Welder Certificate.
  • Proven background in multi-process welding (TIG, MIG, MAG, Stick) and shop math.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift components weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated track record of dependable attendance and flexibility for emergency workflows.
