Overview

As a Field Service Technician I at RedGuard, you will support service and installation work for industrial modular buildings at high-security sites. This entry-level position is suited for individuals with basic construction knowledge who are eager to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assessing and completing basic repairs on modular buildings under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Learn to identify building components, materials, and systems commonly used in industrial modular structures.
• Support routine preventative maintenance tasks and respond promptly to service needs.
• Help maintain tools, equipment, and inventory on the service truck to ensure readiness for job sites.
• Provide on-site support to experienced technicians and may assist in coordinating with subcontractors as needed.

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience in a service or industrial setting, preferably in the refinery or petrochemical industry.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certification.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC® card.
• Must be able to travel frequently.
• Some knowledge of the construction field, including skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and/or HVAC.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to operate forklifts, manlifts and aerial platforms.

Additional Information

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. of materials or tools.
• Able to work on roofs and at heights in excess of 8 feet.
• Work conditions vary from hot and humid to wet, cold and sometimes freezing temperatures.
