This role will see you join an emerging Houston owned and operated Fabricator with the opportunity to step into a key leadership position in a high-performing team focused on quality and operational excellence. Key duties include:

Oversee daily operations of the fabrication shop while driving safety, quality, and productivity targets. Direct and coordinate teams of welders, fitters, and fabrication technicians to complete work efficiently. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to assign tasks and allocate materials. Enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements (OSHA, API, ASME). Track production schedules closely and adjust priorities to ensure timely project delivery. Mentor, train, and assess team members to develop a high-performing, skilled workforce. Partner with Quality Control and Engineering to resolve quality issues and apply corrective measures. Track key performance data, maintain shift reports, and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on supervisory experience in metal fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or pipe fabrication environments. Solid expertise in fabrication techniques including welding , cutting, fitting, and finishing processes. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and detailed technical drawings. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities. Proven ability to uphold rigorous safety and quality standards. Familiarity with API/ASME codes and fabrication tolerances is highly preferred. High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or associate degree preferred.

Work Environment Fast-paced industrial fabrication facility. Candidates must be comfortable standing and walking on the shop floor for extended periods while wearing required PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, etc.).
