Overview

A precision forging manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, and power generation industries is hiring a Tool Crib Attendant to support its shop floor operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a stable, growing environment with a focus on engineering excellence and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support shop floor operations by managing tools and equipment.
  • Issue, track, inspect, and maintain hand tools, power tools, gauges, dies, and shop equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support tool calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with mechanics, machinists, and production staff.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, ideally within aerospace or defense.
  • Background as an industrial mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar mechanical role.
  • Familiarity with tool crib operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize tooling and equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
