Overview
A precision forging manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, and power generation industries is hiring a Tool Crib Attendant to support its shop floor operations. Responsibilities
- Support shop floor operations by managing tools and equipment.
- Issue, track, inspect, and maintain hand tools, power tools, gauges, dies, and shop equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support tool calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with mechanics, machinists, and production staff.
Requirements
- Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, ideally within aerospace or defense.
- Background as an industrial mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar mechanical role.
- Familiarity with tool crib operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize tooling and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
