Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Maintenance/ Engineer to join our team! The position involves performing work across multiple maintenance craft occupations to keep machines and the building structure in good condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform work involving skills of two or more maintenance craft occupations.
• Repair leaks, unclog drains, and address plumbing issues.
• Maintain water distribution and sewage systems.
• Perform carpentry tasks, including repairing doors, windows, and furniture.
• Assist with painting projects to maintain facility aesthetics.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Perform HVAC system maintenance including filter replacement and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical components.
• Identify and repair hazardous equipment or areas.
• Repair machines and equipment using various tools.
• Answer and respond to service calls.
• Perform other repairs and general maintenance duties as instructed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years proven experience in facility maintenance or related field.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues accurately.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively.
• Able to work independently and within a team environment.

Additional Information

• Available for full-time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling.
• Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
