Overview

Lippert is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of engineered products dedicated to the RV, marine, automotive, commercial vehicle, and building products industries. The Weld Associate-1 role involves joining, fabricating, and repairing metal using appropriate welding techniques while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and/or job procedures to determine appropriate welding process.
• Weld with minimal quality issues.
• Measure weldments using quality control equipment.
• Perform basic fit up operation in preparation for welding.
• Meet minimum production requirements.
• Inspect completed welds for structural soundness.
• May train others.
• Abide by OSHA and FSC rules and regulations for safety.
• Wear typical protection gear in a dusty, noisy environment.
• Work well under pressure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• One or more years of experience preferred and/or combination of education and experience.
• MIG (GMAW) welding of carbon steel required.
• Ability to interpret welding blueprints and call-outs.
• Ability to read English.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with others.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time hourly position.
• Pay rate is $19.95 - $21.00 per hour for 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
• No travel required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
