Overview

Armstrong Fluid Technology, operating since 1965 in North Tonawanda, NY, is a leader in designing, engineering, and manufacturing advanced fluid-flow equipment. The company specializes in HVAC, Hydronics, and Fire Systems, and is looking for a skilled Booster Assembly Technician to join their manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble booster systems and related equipment according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Cut, drill, tap, and thread steel components as required.
  • Perform pipe and valve assemblies.
  • Install pumps, motors, piping, valves, and associated components.
  • Perform electrical component installation, including control panels, motors, conduit, and wiring as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues to ensure product quality and on-time completion.
  • Accurately record labor and production activities in the manufacturing system.
  • Verify assemblies meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly, and mechanical drawings.
  • Must have strong mechanical skills and experience with basic hand tools and light power tools.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and may occasionally lift over 50 lbs, where employee assistance is required.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Able to do basic computer tasks.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
