Overview

The 2nd Shift Facilities Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and upgrade of all utility systems across Perrigo’s facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade Perrigo’s utility systems across all buildings.
  • Perform utility systems rebuilding, installation, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
  • Complete general work orders and collaborate with other technicians across shifts.
  • Conduct special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
  • Five plus years of solid work experience in maintenance skills or three years as a Perrigo Set Up Tech with related education.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) background desirable.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Suite and experience with CMMS such as SAP.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints.
  • Commitment to meeting schedules and deadlines with good attendance.

Additional Information

  • This is a Union Position.
  • Pay Range: $28.00 per hour.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and required overtime.
  • Hybrid working approach allows for two days a week from home.
