Overview

Magellan Aerospace is a global aerospace company with over 80 years of experience, providing complex assemblies and systems solutions. They are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production through troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC and non-conforming equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting and repair support for CNC and production equipment as required.
• Identify root cause and implement corrective actions for equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot machine issues within mechanical alignment, electrical hardware, CNC controls and software, peripheral devices, and automation systems.
• Perform repairs involving servo systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Interpret mechanical, electrical, and assembly drawings.
• Adhere to all company employment policies, safety rules, and safe work practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support technical reporting when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned and proactively identify opportunities to add value.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with CNC controls, servo systems, PLCs, automation systems, and machine tool maintenance.
• Strong mechanical background in precision measurement, machine tool theory, and hydraulics and pneumatics.
• FANUC and SIEMENS CNC experience preferred.
• Prior technical writing experience preferred.
