Overview

Join Worldwide Flight Services as an OXF Mechanic, where you will contribute to the timely delivery of cargo and ensure the safe operation of baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges. This role offers opportunities to develop skills in a global network of over 170 locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain superior customer service and safe working practices at all times.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment such as motors and baggage handling systems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems.
• Analyze root causes of electrical failures and propose remedies.
• Interpret schematics and engineering drawings related to system operation.
• React to call outs from the Control Room Operator or manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance including inspection, adjustment, and cleaning.

Requirements

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge.
• Experience in an industrial environment or minimum 1 year as a maintenance mechanic.
• Proven experience as a Welder with relevant work experience.
