Overview

U-Haul is seeking a Welding Robot Programmer to join their team, where you will work with the latest robotic welding technology to build truck and trailer parts for the largest do-it-yourself moving company in the world. This position offers competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate robotic welding machines, specifically ABB Robots.
• Develop and optimize welding programs and parameters to maximize efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic welding systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the engineering and fabrication teams to plan, execute, and refine welding projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ability to hand MIG weld as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Robot Welder with hands-on programming capabilities.
• Experience with robotic welding systems is required.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, robotic programming, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Able to travel for machine-specific training.
