Overview

Venturi Supply is a national network of distributors specializing in pipe, valves, fittings, tanks, and industrial supplies. The Fabrication Associate role involves assisting welders and fabrication specialists throughout the fabrication process and preparing products for distribution.

Responsibilities

• Operate grooving, threading, and band saw machines that assist in the fabrication process.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Read a tape measurer and gauges, and identify materials according to specifications.
• Perform high mathematic shop math, converting decimals to fractional equivalents and vice versa.
• Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines and use air/hand tools.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and produce quality products consistently.
• Prepare all completed products for distribution.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• Education: GED or High School Diploma.
• Technical knowledge of machinery, tools, gauging, and fabrication.
• 1 year of fabrication experience required.
• Prior Forklift experience.
• Computer literate; proficient with MS Office 365.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems effectively.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience with quality control analysis.
• Basic knowledge of math and geometry.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Detail-oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities.
• Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
