Overview

TLR Hydraulics is seeking skilled Welders and Fabricators to support their hydraulic repair and fabrication shop in Midlothian, TX. The role involves reading blueprints, performing multi-process welding, and ensuring safety and efficiency in the shop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and fit metal materials for fabrication projects.
  • Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core processes.
  • Assemble fabricated components and structures according to specifications.
  • Repair and modify existing metal parts and structures as needed.
  • Inspect welds for quality and compliance with standards.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding and ability to perform TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Manual dexterity and solid hand-eye coordination.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
