Overview
TLR Hydraulics is seeking skilled Welders and Fabricators to support their hydraulic repair and fabrication shop in Midlothian, TX. The role involves reading blueprints, performing multi-process welding, and ensuring safety and efficiency in the shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit metal materials for fabrication projects.
- Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core processes.
- Assemble fabricated components and structures according to specifications.
- Repair and modify existing metal parts and structures as needed.
- Inspect welds for quality and compliance with standards.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects.
Requirements
- Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in MIG welding and ability to perform TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
- Manual dexterity and solid hand-eye coordination.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
