Fusion Technician (HDPE Fabrication)

About the Opportunity Our client is an established manufacturer specializing in high-quality HDPE fabricated products that support critical infrastructure projects throughout the United States. Leveraging premium polyethylene feedstock sourced from leading U.S. manufacturers, they are recognized for delivering precision-engineered fabricated fittings to meet the growing demand for reliable HDPE pipeline solutions.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Fusion Technician to join their production team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Key Responsibilities Perform butt fusion and electrofusion of HDPE pipe and fabricated fittings Read and interpret fabrication drawings, work orders, and technical specifications. Operate fusion equipment and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized manufacturing environment Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production schedules.

Qualifications Previous experience performing HDPE butt fusion and/or electrofusion. Experience working in a fabrication, plastics, piping, or industrial manufacturing environment. Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication documents. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Knowledge of HDPE products, fittings, or piping systems is highly desirable. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Preferred Experience Industry certifications related to HDPE fusion (preferred but not required). Experience with fabricated fittings, custom assemblies, or pressure piping systems. Familiarity with quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
