Overview

Crown Equipment Corporation is one of the world's largest lift truck manufacturers, providing local support globally with over 15 manufacturing facilities and more than 500 retail locations. They are seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused technicians to join their team as Field Service Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, and welding experience preferred.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools and electrical/air tools.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals.
