Overview

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a 102 Bench Assembler to drive innovation and uphold high standards of business ethics. The role involves assembling parts to create subassemblies and operating various machinery, requiring US Citizenship due to facility requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble or integrate parts to create subassemblies using oral or written instruction.
  • Perform operations including wire wrap, soldering, and inserting components on circuit boards.
  • Position and fasten parts using crimping, soldering, epoxying, bolting, or hand staking.
  • Conduct tasks such as bead blasting, cleaning and forming parts, labeling, stenciling, and marking.
  • Support microcircuits in assembly.
  • Operate machinery such as robots, auto crimpers, riveting machines, punches, drills, and ovens.

Requirements

  • Ability to assemble or integrate parts to create subassemblies using oral or written instruction.
  • Skill in performing operations such as wire wrap, soldering, and inserting components on circuit boards.
  • Experience with fastening methods including crimping, soldering, epoxying, bolting, hand staking, tinning, riveting, bonding, and welding.
  • Ability to operate machinery such as robots, auto crimpers, riveting machines, punches, drills, cleaners, ovens, and furnaces.
  • Familiarity with tasks including cleaning and forming parts, labeling, stenciling, marking, key pinning, masking/unmasking, and wire prep.
  • Must be able to obtain J Standard Solder Certification within first 30 days of employment.
  • US Citizenship is required.

  • The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
