Overview

Aggreko is seeking a Planned Maintenance Technician in Bridgeport, NJ, to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various power and HVAC equipment, ensuring reliable service for customers across different sectors.

Responsibilities

• Work in the field with local travel daily in a company vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations.
• Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, either independently or with a team.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience with diesel power/natural gas generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading schematics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 75 lbs.
