Overview

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a reliable and efficient Maintenance Technician to join their team in Milton Roy, PA. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of the manufacturing facility through routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, all while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly and monthly equipment inspections
• Perform general cleaning of all areas of the building
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas and parking lot
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
• Remove trash, cardboard, and other recycling daily
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
• Perform manual repairs when necessary
• Aid maintenance technicians in electrical, lighting, mechanical, plumbing, and machinery repairs
• Install and troubleshoot primary facility electrical up to 440V lighting, mechanical, and plumbing
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve daily and monthly targets
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures
• Assist in installing new machinery and production lines
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure proper setup

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 + years’ experience in a maintenance role in industrial or manufacturing facility
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to operate a fork truck and scissor lift
• Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools
• Demonstrated time management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability
• General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Additional Information

• This position will be based at our site in Ivyland, PA, with no anticipated travel.
• Shift: 1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm, OT and Weekends as needed.
