Overview

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Fuel and Ash Handler I to monitor and operate auxiliary equipment for safe and efficient plant operations. The role involves performing maintenance and repairs on ash handling systems and operating related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment including industrial forklifts and manlifts.
• Complete inspections on frontend loader in Tipping Floor and Ash House areas.
• Operate refuse crane and front-end loader as required.
• Perform routine mechanical tasks such as opening equipment access doors and minor repairs.
• Follow all environmental compliance and safety requirements.
• Use high-pressure water blaster systems for cleaning and drain clearing.
• Operate various mobile water pumps for ash dewatering and handling.
• Correct safety and environmental hazards and report them to supervision.
• Work overtime and rotating shifts as required.
• Shovel loose materials into machine hoppers or vehicles.
• Maintain a positive work environment through effective communication.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Mechanical abilities to perform equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
