Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble various lifting and rigging products including slings, wire ropes, lifting devices, rigging hardware, and hoists.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements for accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Inspect finished products to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabricating equipment and tools.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products for customer orders.
• Review and interpret drawings, blueprints, and capacity tables.
• Calculate wire rope cut lengths and identify appropriate equipment for wire rope and chain assemblies.
• Splice wire rope and fabricate chain slings.
• Understand and operate industrial swaging machines, proof testing machines, and forklifts.
• Attach proper tags and labels to products.
• Report defective or substandard material supplies or products.
• Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner, following all Safety Guidelines.
