R+L Carriers is seeking Trailer Mechanics for their Marietta, GA Service Center, offering a pay rate of up to $38.85 per hour. The role involves diagnostic processes, repair work, and maintenance of trailers, with a strong emphasis on safety inspections and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documents required by FMCSA and other regulations.
• Interpret technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
• Test equipment for proper performance to ensure compliance with manufacturer’s specifications and regulations.
• Conduct trailer PMs and repairs.

Requirements

• Experience in performing safety inspections and preparing safety documents.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals.
• Experience in repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems.
• Experience in testing equipment for proper performance.
• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must own your own tools.
• Dependability and preparedness to work in various climate situations.
