Job Description

Overview

A Welder Fabricator is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, pipes, and equipment. This role requires expertise in welding techniques, blueprint reading, and precision measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various types of welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
  • Interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
  • Shape and assemble metal components using manual or automated tools.
  • Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Ability to weld various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.

Additional Information

  • Location: Cranston, RI
  • Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday 1st shift or 2:30pm-10:30pm 2nd shift
  • Pay: $21.00- $25.00 an hour
