Overview

Responsibilities

  • Select and prepare appropriate materials for welding.
  • Cut, shape, and fit metal components using various tools.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Ensure the structural integrity and cosmetic quality of welded components.
  • Conduct visual inspections of welds to meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to address welding defects.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment.
  • Report safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in welding techniques.

Requirements

  • Requires aluminum TIG welding experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or technical training preferred.
  • Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive, team-first attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
