Overview

Key Technology is a global leader in the design and manufacture of food processing technology, providing innovative solutions since 1948. As a Welder, you will work in a dynamic production environment to fabricate stainless steel equipment used in food processing, utilizing blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate stainless steel equipment used in food processing.
• Use blueprints and engineering drawings to fit and weld assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Requirements

• High school education, community college weld program, technical weld school, or equivalent experience.
• Three years’ experience in welding fabrication.
• Basic GMAW and GTAW abilities.
• Knowledge of gas torch and plasma equipment, overhead crane operations, and pneumatic hand tools such as grinders.
• Ability to use fixtures, templates, stops, and/or guides.
• Experience in MIG, TIG, and TIP/TIG welding.

Additional Information

• Swing Shift offers a 4-day work week schedule and a shift differential equal to 15% additional pay.
• Position is contingent on successful completion of weld written and practical tests.
