Baker Hughes is a leading energy technology company that delivers across the energy value chain. The Field Specialist II role involves supporting the safe and efficient delivery of API inspections of aboveground storage tanks and pressure vessels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Assist in the successful completion of all field projects as directed.
• Communicate accurately with all crew members.
• Carry out directions of the crew Foreman.
• Maintain punctuality and perform all duties professionally.
• Perform NDE tasks as required.
• Work and travel safely.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of industry experience.
• Experience with a field service company is required.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors, and customers.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time, with little notice including overnight and air travel.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport and TWIC card.
• Ability to pass background and drug testing.
• Comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
• Knowledge or certification to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT, and other NDE methods as required.

Additional Information

• Working Monday-Friday, 50-60 hours/week with some weekends required.
• Includes heavy travel schedule, estimated at 75%.
